As a unique child of God, you are loved immensely by your Heavenly Father. He is the Father of your spirit. All of humanity belongs to His family. As a loving parent, He knows you, is aware of your challenges, and wants you to have a strong relationship with Him. Through prayer, you can talk to Him and He will hear you. And if you listen in return, He will provide you with answers, inspiration, and comfort.
We all need help in life. We face trials, we have questions, and we make mistakes. This is why we need Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God and our loving Savior. His perfect example shows us the way to live. His teachings give us direction. But most importantly, He suffered and died for our sins so that we can be forgiven when we repent. Through Him, we can find lasting happiness and look forward to living again with God someday.
You were born for a reason. Life can be difficult sometimes, but we are here to find happiness and help others do the same. Your Heavenly Father knew that to learn and grow and become like Him, you’d need to come to earth, receive a physical body, and have an opportunity to make choices for yourself. If we choose to follow His plan, sometimes referred to as the plan of salvation or the plan of happiness, we and our families can return to live with Him as stronger, wiser, and more compassionate versions of ourselves.
Living the gospel is more than something we do on Sundays—it is a way of life that shapes our homes, friendships, and communities every day. As a stake, we invite every member—youth, adults, and families—to find joyful ways to draw closer to the Savior through worship, learning, and service.
Throughout the year, we will provide opportunities for devotionals, community service, youth activities, and family-centered gatherings that strengthen faith and build unity among us. These experiences are meant to inspire connection, deepen testimony, and help us lift one another as disciples of Christ.
As we serve, learn, and grow together, we become a living expression of the gospel in our neighborhoods and homes. May this initiative help each of us find simple, meaningful ways to follow the Savior and bless the lives of those around us.

All Leaders exercise their keys in implementing these tools as they help members help themselves toward self-reliance. Contact Brother Siyabulela Manyakanyaka on 061-741-7612 for more information.

The temple and family history work connect us to heaven and to one another across generations. As we discover our ancestors and participate in temple ordinances, we feel a deeper sense of identity, belonging, and purpose within God’s eternal family.
As a stake, we invite individuals and families to take part in family history discovery, indexing, temple preparation, and temple worship.
